Shipping With Weigh 'n Pay: What to Expect When You Shop Online


We’ve been shipping orders across Australia for nearly 10 years now, and over that time, we’ve developed a smooth, reliable process to make your online shopping experience as seamless as possible.

From day one, our goal has been to offer the same quality, care, and service that our in-store customers enjoy — all while staying true to our values around sustainability. That’s why, instead of defaulting to plastic packaging, we invested in cutting-edge home compostable bags long before they were widely available (or affordable!). Today, these bags are far more common, but back then, they were a real innovation.


Your Shipping Options

When you shop online with Weigh 'n Pay, you’ll have a few shipping methods to choose from. We’ve outlined each below so you can make an informed decision based on your needs and location.


In-Store Pickup – FREE

Select this option and we’ll have your order ready for collection at your nominated time. You’re also welcome to send someone to collect it on your behalf — just leave a note at checkout with their name.


Australia Post – Standard & Express

Shipping costs are automatically calculated at checkout based on the weight of your items. We don’t add any margins — what you pay is exactly what AusPost charges us. This is typically the most reliable and consistent shipping option, especially for PO Boxes, though it can come at a slightly higher price.


Local Couriers / Sendle

Usually a cheaper alternative to AusPost, this option is also calculated by weight. The system will assign a courier based on your location, which means services may vary. While generally reliable in metro areas — particularly Perth and other metro-to-metro routes — delivery times can be less predictable, and some drivers may not follow specific delivery instructions. These inconsistencies stem from the gig-based model many courier companies use, and are unfortunately common across the industry.


What Happens After You Place an Order?

We get packing right away! Your goodies are packed in AS5810-certified home compostable produce bags. That means you can unpack your items into your own containers, then toss the bags straight into your compost or FOGO bin — too easy.


We usually dispatch orders within 24 hours (excluding weekends). If anything you ordered is temporarily out of stock, we’ll reach out with options — whether that’s a swap, a short wait, or a refund. Most stock issues are sorted within a couple of days.


For in-store pickups, your order may come packed in a complimentary Weigh 'n Pay tote bag. For posted orders, we use recycled and reused packaging materials to keep everything safe on its journey to you.


Once It Arrives…

To keep everything fresh, we recommend transferring your produce into airtight containers as soon as possible. It’ll stay delicious for weeks (and often months).

We’re here to help. If anything goes wrong or you’re not 100% satisfied, we’ll work with you — and our delivery partners if needed — to make it right. Our commitment is always to go above and beyond to ensure you’re happy with your experience.
